Since I've been such a fic slacker, and a whiner, if you want to give me a prompt, I'll write you at the very least a drabble, but hopefully a one-shot. Smut is always an option. I really need to get my mind in gear. The next Spiral chapter is almost done as well. So I'm feeling productive.

So, give me a prompt and I'll see what I can do, since apparently I'm a vampire and no longer sleep at night.

Luffs!!

Dear flist,

Sorry for my absence in all things LtM*. I was sick as hell for two weeks and as soon as I got better and back to work, I got a call saying my nephew was being life flighted into our hospital at about 1:00 in the morning. He had a drowning accident and had been dead for 4-5 before they got him back. Long and horrible story made short. I've spent more time at the hospital than human should ever have to do.

But, after a few of days in the ICU, another two days in a normal room, he was released to go home. His short term memory is rather messed up, but it's getting better. The first day, he could remember things for about 30 seconds. Then we got up to 20 minutes. But if you left the room, he wouldn't remember you had every been there. Which in some ways was nice, because his face would like up every time you walked in the room, even if you'd been in there a dozen times. He had some challenges ahead, but we have him back, healthy and ready to live his life. It was a miracle that saved him and prayers that got him through. That I believe to be true.

And, feeling like a vulture, I may base a fic over all the things I learned about oxygen being cut off to the brain and all that fun stuff. I think Cal might get an owie.

But not until I've had sleep. Lots and lots of sleep that isn't on a hospital couch, or a living room couch. Ugh.

ktxluvubai!

No spoilers, except maybe in the comments, I dunno. But I hereby withdraw my hatred for Russell T. Davies. He has just earned my love for life, no matter how much stuff he fucks up in the future (and he will, because that's what he does). I do not care. The 'End of Time' was a fitting send off for Ten and David Tennant, and might I say, fucking brilliant. And my OTP was epic and they were brilliant and did I mention brilliant!?!

Though I did bawl my eyes out and my head is poundy. Still worth it!!

Huh
It's 2:00 in the morning and I'm still rather wide. So I watched Skellig and it gave me all sorts of smiles, and not just because of Tim Roth and John Simm, who was a pleasant surprise *squishes the Simm* Though I now have a thing for blond!simm due to his current Master hair. Damn it. It's just so rawr.

Heather, you must watch this film, because it's just the sort you love! So I'm sort of insisting and stuff. It's for your own good and I love you enough to go lesbian for you, so watch it in return!

Or something.

Anyway, Happy New Year everyone and for the love of pete, go to bed!

Apparently the BBC reckons most people will have only read 6 of the 100 books here.
Instructions:
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read ENTIRELY
2) Add a ‘+’ to the ones you LOVE.
4) Tally your total at the bottom.

Behold my pretentiousness )

1. Put your Music Player on shuffle.
2. For each question, press the next button to get your answer.
3. YOU MUST WRITE THAT SONG NAME DOWN NO MATTER HOW SILLY IT SOUNDS.
4. Tag your friends

Because I feel random and because it never ceases to make me grin. I don't find younger Tim attractive (maybe because I'm old), but Ted the bellhop is WIN! Or his butt wiggle is win. I don't know. But it makes me happy damn it!

I suppose it's spoilery if you haven't seen Four Rooms, but not really.

Has anyone else seen "Four Rooms"? I dreamed the other night that my pinky got cut off and kind of... glued back on. I blame Tim for this. Still, hilarious movie.

I see that my flist has exploded with fics! As soon as I finish this monster, I'll get to reading them. Not ignoring you all, I just can't write and read at the same time without questioning everything I put out. And also, I think I'm little messed up under my current meds, so woooooot!

Or fuck.

I just realized this whole Vegas thing could easily be slipped into the fic I'm writing quite seemlessly and would fit the current situation well.

Thank god, I've finally found something to be happy about with this ep. *dances*

Seriously self, go to bed now. Work in a few hours. Stop being an idiot!
